Heehee.

Saw a current copy of 'The Chaser' (a satirical newspaper) yesterday...hee! It had a massive HP5 spoiler on the front, subtitled "Newspaper spoils HP5 for fans!" or something...hahaaha. Seems like I was not the only sadist out there.

But yeah, I had a nice weekend I suppose. Blog-worthy if not that!

Had Middle of Year event on Friday that I was organising in conjunction with some kids (who ended up doing not much, hrrr), which was ok. Just glad it's over. Bf wanted me to confront the helper kids about it, but...I dunno. It was partly my fault that they didn't do anything because I honestly just lost sight of the fact that their training is most of the reason why I am doing this and just wanted to make sure the event was well done. Hum. I don't wanna tell them off if it was my fault. Gr.

So yeah, then on Saturday night we went to one of the girl's in my GG's 18th. There were a few of us (people my age!) there (fellow leaders) so we ended up leaving at about 10 cos we were bored and ended up at a lounge in Crows Nest where I witnessed the most disconcertingly hilarious display by the male species ever. OMG! Dave was trying to pick up the pretty/friendly waitress who was serving us, and the other guys were...I dunno. Trying to impress her with witty bantering I guess. Making total idiots of themselves in the process (well to me anyway!). I was saying to bf afterwards "Is that what you guys are like on roadie???", and though he said that the supper behaviour was 10 times worse...I was still disconcerted. ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Derros! Complete derros! And we're going back on Friday for Lockie's b'day. Aiii. AND the waitress said she'd be there. Aiiiiiiii!

Then on Sunday arvo...

I went through this stage when I was in about year 9-10 where I didn't go for lunch with people after church because I found it really uncomfortable...I just felt kind of left out (especially since the people around were older I suppose). And lunch yesterday was kinda reminiscent of that. No one to talk to. No one was talking to me. It's just really uncomfortable and I feel like I have to busy myself to make up for the fact that I'm just sitting there! And on top of that I was going to hang out with the same people who weren't talking to me...major discomfort. We ended up playing the 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus' boardgame (no fun playing with guys...they're not good at it!) So except for Lynette and Dave carrying on, it was ok. Hr. What can you do?? O well.

So there you have it, my weekend.

ciao!
