ARGH ARGH ARGH

I feel so OLD!! WHY ARE ALL THESE PEOPLE GETTING ENGAGED!!!???!?!??!?!!!!

It's SO WEIRD, this chick who graduated from yr12 last year got engaged to this guy from my year....they've been dating for 4 years or there abouts....but OMG!! I mean, I know they aren't gonna get married for a while, but STILL! It's kinda...well..not really....but still...committing your life (sort of) to another person semi-permanently! HOW IN THE WORLD can you make decisions like that at EIGHTEEN????

Kinda made me think- like- I don't even think I could say yes if my bf asked me to marry him tomorrow. Of course I love him and I can see myself in the future with him (otherwise I wouldn't be going out with him) but...I don't know if I can make decisions like that to affect the rest of my life NOW....I mean, I'm too young! I think I felt kinda the same way when I was deciding my uni preferences...how am I supposed to know what I want for the rest of my life at 18??
