Pfffft!

I actually did blog yesterday but good ole' Blogger crashed and took my blog with it. Which was probably a good thing, cause it was even MORE inane that it is usually =) But that's what keeps you coming back isn't it?? I KNOW it is....hehehehee.

Yes, it's Justice Kirby's birthday today (a judge on the High Court of Australia- the gay one- you ignorami!!). I went to a lecture given by him at uni yesterday...it was strangely enlightening and inspiring. And he wasn't even talking about anything remotely of that character (the centenary of the High Court??) He was really well spoken and well thought out (even when the random guy asked him about how human rights related to animal rights)- and he didn't take himself too seriously either. We need more of these people in the world to be Christians, methinks!

I was reflecting yesterday on what a dodgy witness I am for Christ. I'd be ashamed of me if I were Jesus- I mean, after all He's done for the human race, He's got this bunch of bumbling ambassadors who can't even really do Him justice. No wonder the world isn't particularly keen on Him. But yeah, it turned out that one of my uni friends was actually old family friends with one of my church friends...hmm. I hesitate to use the word friend in the last context. I mean, we were good friends at a stage before she got really bitter and strange and I took offence at a rebuff of a well-meaning gesture on my part. Anywayz, I was spiling the goss on her to my uni friend (who is a Christian) while the two of us, AND another uni (non-Christian) friend were walking to class. I didn't think of it till I parted from their company, but honestly....what must Sarah (NC one) be thinking?? ARGH ARGH ARGH...=(
