Out to get me

How is it that the only time I've been sick all year, I've been the busiest I've ever been at my 2 places of work??

I went into work on Wednesday, hoping for a typical bludgy, do nothing all day type day...(my head was swimming) and we were ridiculously busy...so much so that we should have photocopied through lunch hour, had my brain not ceased to work due to illness and lack of food.

And TODAY, feeling like my whole body was convulsing when I coughed and my head still swimming a bit, I stayed LATE at the legal centre (centre of all bludginess mind you!) because I needed to FINISH something!! UNBELIEVABLE! I mean, I only did stay for about 30-40mins after official home time, but this is unacceptable when one works at the centre of all bludginess. It is even MORE unacceptable when one has to stay late next Tuesday to induct Law Lawyers students!

Gah.
