Paranoia inducing problems

Nothing induces paranoia in me like computer problems.

As you can see from the archives of this blog, they drive me NUTS. I mean, logically, a machine does nothing unless you tell it to do something. Hence, if you get a problem, it's because you did something. And therefore, if you can figure out what it is you did, you should be able to FIX THE PROBLEM.

So technically, all computer problems, in my mind, are fixable.
And so when something goes wrong, I want it FIXED. ARGH!

My laptop has stopped working. My beautiful, most-stylish-in-my-fed-con-class laptop will not load up. OMG! The ramifications are huge, not just because it's my lifeline to the outside world at the click of a mouse button, but because I have data there that is there alone, and no where else. Hence, if computer dies, then data (photos, emails, music, original music...) dies with it.

SOMEONE HELP!!!!
