Getting more low key every year

Today is my 23rd birthday.

I spent most of it in a car on the way back from Port Stephens (where we were for the weekend), and at a DFO equivilent in Tuggerah (of all places! Still, it could have been worse....a DFO in Kangi Angi or Tumbi Umbi would have been way more random!) Ended up the day by having dinner in our local (Asian) pub, and watching Australian Idol (OMG, SMS ROXANE to 19 10 10!!!)

I have resolved to have a HUUUUGE party for my 30th. Two reasons behind this: (1) 30 is actually the next "big" birthday I have on the horizon; (2) I have enough time to get my act together and plan something (7 years should be enough, right!). I am hereby putting the WORLD ON NOTICE: I AM HAVING A THIRTIETH BIRTHDAY PARTY WHICH I INTEND TO PLAN MYSELF AND CELEBRATE MY WAY! KAPEESH!?!?! (Yes, as you can see, I still have a monkey on my back over it all. Gah. GAH I say!)

Thank you all for your lovely messages...and no, I did not turn my phone off intentionally, my phone died on me! Of course I wanted to talk to you all today! =)
