Shello!

Obviously in that last post, my qualifiers weren't clear enough (should I go through and bold them all now...? Naaaaaaah! haha).

Sop, the blog was not aimed at you! More what you wrote was a catalyst for my subsequent thoughts. I have always found you to be very open-minded for your kind. Ha...ha...ha....everyone get the irony!?!? Laugh with me, people!! (The thing about Sop having a "kind" is a joke. Kapeesh?)

I've actually never thought of the concept of thinking of a Christian book as a literary text though. It's never occurred to me. Perhaps because if I was evaluating them that way, most modern Christian books would fail absolutely miserably, definitely falling into the "sensationalist" kind of category. As well as the "not much quality to the writing, bang you over the head with a sledgehammer, subtlety lacking" categories too. (That's why I realise that I think JK Rowling as an author has severe deficiencies- in my opinion- she just goes in with the sledgehammer....NO SUBTLETY! I really prize subtlety in writing as you can see!) Of course you have the right to your opinion. "Throwaway" was not a value judgement. More a description of the fact that you mentioned it in passing. But aaaanyway, I have never read this book. And really, the book and your comments were never intended to be the substance of the blog. And, I do not for a moment brand you as a narrow-minded Christian. I reserve that title for others.

Ha! Ha! Ha!....That was another piece of my sardonic, self-deprecating humour everyone!! I again am joking! (Kind of. Unfortunately.)

Ok, thanks for getting this far everyone, apologies if I insulted your intelligence =)

Hehehehe. That was fun! (The sarcastic comments bit. Not the other stuff. Though that was not bad too =)
