No low hanging fruit

In consultant speak (at which I am becoming increasingly adept!), a "low hanging fruit" is something that can be accomplished easily (i.e. quickly and cheaply) with maximum results and minimum fuss. Also known as a "quick win".

In wedding world, I think I'm gradually coming to terms with the fact that there are no low hanging fruit, ever. I keep falling into the trap by thinking "Oh! This is ok! This is going to be easy!" But NOTHING has been easy. Everything has required copious amounts of effort - legwork and people pleasing. The easiest thing to decide so far has been my wedding dress (which has been picked and a deposit made, by the way), and that's only because it only depended on ME.

The moment some other complication rears its ugly ugly head, I seriously want to punch something.
