#24

Thank you for everyone's well wishes.

Birthday number 24 was a bit (who am I kidding!?) of a non-event.

I was sad that I wasn't more excited, since I've always been someone that birthdays have meant alot to. Guess it was kind of eclipsed by everything that is happening now. We are on the cusp of booking our wedding reception venue...yay, I guess. (I mean, it is a yay - I was almost in tears of relief when we basically made our decision - but I'm not really feeling it just now.)

It's also my last birthday at home. And not to say that I'm not looking to spending the rest of my life with bf (or is it more accurately just 'f' now...!?), but there is a little part of me that grieves for the last years of childhood.
