I believe in The One (dress)
I went wedding dress shopping for the first time last Saturday and it was FUN! I don't think I've laughed so much for a while...funniest moment was when they put a veil in my hair. First reaction was "OMG, I look like a BRIDE!!. Then they put it over my face and we collapsed in giggles in between yelps of "Mosquito net!!" (because it really WAS like a mosquito net. And by the way, where do they get off charging $100-odd for a piece of tulle with beads on the bottom stuck on a plastic comb?? I SO could make my own...!!)
But anyway, I feel pressure (well not pressure as such...) to pick "the one".
The one dress I mean!
You only get to pick ONE wedding dress ever (well that's the idea) and I want to make sure I get the best possible one I can (within the given constraints, i.e. $$$ of course!). The gowns I tried on all looked pretty good (a structured bodice is a beautiful thing - I no longer feel a compulsion to go to the gym!), and in all honesty, I'd be fairly happy getting any one of the ones I put on my short list (got it down to 3-4 gowns out of the 7-8 I tried on).
But I don't just want "fairly happy".......
I want will bring tears to my eyes when I see myself in the mirror because it's THE ONE!
Ergh. And again, I don't know if I believe in the one.
Should I just be happy with "decent" or "fairly happy"?

I DEFINITELY believe in the one ... and that you will find it eventually if you seek it out. Otherwise, a beautiful gown would not let you down if it's supplemented with the glorious bridal mozzie net. ;p
He he he
From Sausage!
Wahh! Wedding dress shopping...that's BIG!! It's HUGE!!
Don't settle for anything other than "The One". You still have time! Why settle for second best - I thought the dress was one of the reasons for a girl to get married...=P j/k! Haha
Keep updating frequently!!
