42 days and counting down...

Today we signed up to pay an inconceivably large amount of money for our new home...!!

We sat in the solicitor's office and signed our lives away, after I basically spent my whole week on the phone talking to 2 agents, our solicitor (who I'd never met until today), a myriad of strata managers (according to the solicitor's secretary "the most unhelpful breed in the world!" - I may agree....) and a search company, plus calling my parents and bf periodically to keep them informed.

I really really really like this place! The express version of the story is that we were about to settle on another property which we liked alot but weren't entirely comfortable with for a few reasons (speed of the transaction and the location of the place), when I found this current place on the net, apparently when it first went live on the agent's website (I was calling it my 'dream home'). I literally saw the place in the flesh for the first time yesterday.

Yay, we have a home!!

Very thankful to God who's seriously worked it all out. You have NO IDEA how many things were on the cusp of going wrong this week...Praise the Lord!!
