Happy New Year

Quick post since I'm using wireless from some random person's network (my airport picked it up...who am I to say no??)...

Last day at work was characterised by a fire in the building. I kid you not, it was kinda freaky. That was the closest I've ever been to death - and I wasn't even that close - and I was totally freaked out. But since I had already been paid, I took it upon myself to escape pronto (unlike the lawyers who were hanging around pretendingthe smoke smell was getting better).

Off to Bangkok tomorrow- mixed feelings about that with the tsunami consequences probably still prevalent.

Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to pop round to my uncle's place more often to hijack Bryan's (who the heck..!) internet connection =)
