Lucky last day

Geez it went quick...though I think December by it's very nature as the last month of the year just flies of its own accord.

Highlights of attachment:

• Knowing that stuff I studied in law is actually relevant in real practice
• Learning to take heart from small mercies - thanks to all those who came into my office specifically to chat to me...I appreciate it more than you will ever know!
• Overcoming my fear of pestering people for work
• Seeing silent dude in that green-leotard-Peter-Pan-esque outfit on video at the firm Christmas party....hehehehehe.

Lowlights of attachment:

• The general unfriendliness of people in the office, especially other people my age (I don't really expect the partners etc to be particularly forthcoming with me beyond general pleasantries, but shame on you pupils who keep to yourselves!)
• Being bored and having to harrass people for work
• Being left very much to my own devices without anyone really showing me around or taking care of me - made it a lot harder.

Ok I have some extensive and very boring contracts to plough through...will blog some more later (I'd better take this opportunity because after this I won't have easy access to the net anymore...ARGH!)
