It's not what you know....(13/13)

Well well, as expected (except for that stupid shred of hope that got trampled on many-a-time and finally slinked away last week!) I've now been rejected from all firms I applied to! Screw you all too!! =)

Ironically, I've managed (through a back back door- my cousin's wife's mother's friend's friend...no, really!) to get a one month vacation stint at a big fat firm in Singapore over December- the exact type of law firm that would have rejected me had I tried to enter through the front door over here. How dumb is that!? Just goes to show that it's definitely all about who you know...I don't consider that I've done horrendously throughout my uni career. The fact that I'd be unemployed after the end of 5 years study just because I'm a point or two below a D average is ridiculous! Grrrr.

Anywayz, even though I feel slightly like a fraud sliding in through the back door, I thank God for the opportunity....this is the only door opening for me, so I guess I should waddle on through! =)
