Strange but true!

I live in a very sheltered world where people are generally quite pleasant and where I don't associate with people I don't particularly want to. (So if I associate with you, it's because I want to. Feel privileged. Unless of course I'm ruthlessly using you for my own ends. In which case I still want to...just for different reasons....ahem! Anyway! hehe)

The people that exist outside it are strange!!! hehe.

No really! Remember how I told you I got the gig singing at law ball? Well some kerfuffle happened and the organisers cut short the set we were supposed to play, and some people in the band got really pissed off. Then, one of the band chicks (who is friends with the organisers) emailled everyone to say, "yeah it sucks, but this is the reason why...". Then the band director (who was particularly annoyed) sent off this email saying the chick was out of the band etc etc. I thought it was pretty petty anyway. All this happened a few weeks ago.

And now the band director has sent out this contrite, humble-pie-eating email saying "O, I made a huge mistake, she really does support the band, blah blah...can you please welcome her back into the band..."...

Picture me with a perplexed expression on my face. Sooo weird. They carry on like it's SUCH a BIG DEAL....it's not really is it!? Their reactions are not 'appropriate or adapted' to the circumstances provoking them (thanks Gaudron J! hehe)

Hehehe, you can tell it's exam time, I'm writing like a judgment. I'm even quoting from judgments! Maybe I'll even be footnoting next.....eeeeeee.....
