HOW DODGY IS AUSTRALIA???

Unfortunately the answer is yes, because BOTH Rob (a.k.a "I had too much eye-liner on!" guy) and Shannon are BOTH STILL IN Australian Idol.

Sorry, I have to vent about this. I'm venting and not watching Alias, let that be a sign as to how much I want to vent!!

I think ROB sucks. He can't sing that well. He missed notes in his last performance. He's actually not that good looking. He has charisma, but he is NOT a world class performer- or even an Australian class performer, no way. He belongs in a pub, or in Rooty Hill RSL or something. Grrrr.

SHANNON isn't much better. He has had 2 dud performances and I hope that he gets slaughtered next week because he isn't that good a singer (not that he's shown us anyway...ok, well except for 3 weeks ago, What about me was great), has hardly any stage presence and doesn't really have a pop kind of voice.

GRRRR. Those stupid females out there are voting for the (relative) eye-candy. How I wish there were anti-votes available!!

On the other hand....PAULINI! Why was she in the bottom three?? (admittedly it's a 50/50 whether you're in or out, but still!) She's given 4 amazing performances and has a beautiful voice and stage presence. So she's not a supermodel...but this is a singing competition!!!

Just goes to show that it's all about the package and if you have the package, plus a not dodgy performance then you'll be ok.

Hmph.
