My goodness, posting on a weeknight!

The reason I decided to post was because it came to my attention that I never write anything interesting or non-work related anymore. My apologies...I can't think of anything else to write since I spend the majority of my time at work, doing work, with work people. So to continue in that vein...

I brought work home today for the first time. I figured it would be more productive for me to type meeting minutes in front of the TV (Tuesday night is Survivor night, but I can't say that this lot of people has really captured my imagination. I did however have a good cackle when *spoiler for tonight's ep* the Medics wanted to evacuate Bruce and needed Shane's help and Shane is all like "Errr, do you mean now?", to which the Medic is like "Errr...yes now!" and Shane is all "Errr, I hope you don't mind that I'm naked then!" hehehehe. And when they had the sombre evacuation scene with sombre evacuation music, Shane got his very own blurry patch...hilarious!), than sitting at my desk at work while chatting to the person next to me. And I was right too! Got the minutes for 2 sets of meetings done, yay!

Saw Da Vinci Code last night (on the house...thank you kpers social club!) It was ok. A bit plodding. There's a hilarious scene at the denoument (oh how I love big words! That one is curtesy of Ms Lindsay from year....7? English) where the Priory of Sion is standing around having a cup of tea, looking for all intents and purposes as if they'd just adjourned from a staid church service...at which point I turned around to the person next to me giggling "The Priory is standing around having tea!!" hehehehehe. But I agree with what the critics have said that some logic leaps which are passable in the book are absolutely ridiculous in the movie. Tom Hanks was pretty plodding too. Ian McKellen stole the show I thought!

Can't believe it's only Tuesday. Gah!
