Hello world

It's funny that after a ridiculously LONG day (got on the train at 8:10AM, got home at 11:45PM, with lots of running around in between), I still have it in me to sit in front of my laptop and read people's blogs, and even post a blog. Call it unwinding I guess!

I love that I can stay up late on a Friday night (as opposed to sleeping at 10:30PM latest during the week....what can I say, I value sleep!) and know that it won't matter because I'm sleeping in the next day....luxury!

But yes, I'm still alive...I've been doing an audit, and have come to terms with people calling me an auditor. Heck, I've even called myself an auditor a few times. I've been matching up random numbers on bank statements and what have you...today I was just looking desperately ANYWHERE on the given spreadsheet for ANY of the relevant numbers, not caring what they actually stood for- I was looking for the $175,000,000 worth of exposure limits or something...when I finally found a matching number, it could have been 175,000,000 chickens for all I cared. This is why I could not possible have a career as an auditor. I'm just not anal enough.

Other than that, got to Cairns for the Easter long weekend...I'm over forcing the bf to come on family holidays with me...it's just a bit awkward being in the middle of him and my parents. Don't know how it's all going to work if/when we finally get married. Oh well. Pre-marital counselling ahoy!

I also got my graduation pack in the mail...yay, I'm graduating!

Oh, also came to the realisation today that I actually don't miss uni much at all! Which is a good thing I think. I feel like I'm in sync with my life...I know there was a time a few years ago when I felt that my life was either moving too fast and was leaving me behind or vice versa, but at the moment, I feel like life and I are in sync and that for my age and situation, I'm where I'm suppposed to be. I'm fairly satisfied with the way things have turned out for me thus far in post-uni life...and come to think of it, that satisfaction is a blessing in itself. Thank God! =)
