Vignettes

I graduated today. This threw up a whole raft of emotions which I haven't really had time to process yet, so won't go into it at this early stage.

I just finished My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult and have bawled my eyes out 5 times - twice during the first reading, and 3 times during subsequent readings of the final stages of the book. I enjoyed it (the book, not the bawling) thoroughly...I haven't been able to say that about a book for a while, so yay!

My work "buddy" (who is the manager I've done the majority of my work with) quit today. And I got ejected from my desk. All while I was out of the office today. I'm not at work ONE DAY and SEE WHAT HAPPENS....!!

Went to Port Macquarie for 2 days for a job at work. It was actually pretty fun despite the fact that I was fairly redundant up there...the managers I went up with (2 guys) were really cool.

I spend a good deal of time at work scuttling after tall male managers who walk faster and have longer leg strides than me. *Scuttles*
