The following conversation took place on MSN about 20 minutes ago, and was SO inane I just had to share it with you (edited a bit for clarity)...

Me: Neh nee neh nee neh neh!....you get the intonation of the neh nee's right?
Her: Haha
Me: Cos it wouldn't be the same if you thought they were random
Her: It's like...D D B E D B...right!?
Me: Yes! Hahaha...I sat there humming the notes for a while you know, and working out the intervals between them...
Her: I was going to write out the rhythm, but figured if we were on the same page, [I] didn't need to.
Me: How would you write it out?
Her: Describe it in words.
Me: It's a dotted quaver/semi-quaver type thing isn't it...or a lilting 6/8, where the neh's are worth 2
Her: Yep!!
[Both collapse into MSN giggles]

Hehehe...I wonder how ANYONE takes me seriously...heheheh
