Old after all
I keep having these moments where I think "Oh crap!! I'm too young to be doing this!!" Two that spring to mind that happened in the last few days include walking with a group of friends from dinner location to dessert location and stopping to peer eagerly into each real estate agent window we passed, and the realisation that the next time I see my uni friends, we'll all be working full-time *cue scary music*.
However, I was just contemplating while lurking at someone else's blog that maybe I'm not "too young" after all...that maybe...what I'm doing now is right for where I'm at. The person who was writing the blog was similar to me 4-5 years ago...struggling with uni (for GOODNESS' sake, what is people's PROBLEM with QMA?? It should be a piece of cake for anyone who did at least 3U maths...even for someone like me who was never a maths sort of person!) and leading Bible study at church (with all the issues that entailled).
Reading it all, I just felt so...so...beyond it all.
Hooray! Growing up at last! =)

I am hijacking the comment space of your blog to say:
WHEN ARE GOING TO HAVE LUNCH DAMMIT?!?!?!?
hehehe.
Don't grow up too fast, Em!
love Soph
Is the above person Sop? If yup, hi Sop.
And....hey..I got 50 for QMA. hahahaha
I'm quite proud of it.
I am very grateful for my youth...and even more grateful for having my head in the present and not the past or the future. After that moment of clarity, I feel like my feelings and activities are finally in sync with my chronological age, hurrah!
As for your aunt Judith...don't be too depressed. I'm sure it's all savourable while you're living it...just feels like it's gone fast in retrospect?? Hahahaa...not that I have any expertise on this...just conjecture!
And Jen....tut tut, you did 4U!! Though I admit that 50 on the dot is rather impressive. Even more impressive than my numerous 65's on the dot....*doffs hat*
