Long time no update...

And now I'm here, I'm not quite sure what to say.

I think I've just been Australian Idol-ed out...needless to say you've heard that stupid Cosima withdrew. The only reason I'm annoyed is because that means SHANNON is still in...he has been SO lucky the Australian public goes for underdogs and mid-range achievers.

Yesterday marked the 3rd month my sister's been in a coma. It's so weird...life has changed so much (well, life as I know it anyway) this past session (it's the last day of uni today sort of)(sort of because while I have a lecture on Thursday I have not been for the most part of the session!)...you just never know when life will throw a curveball at you, do you? hrm.

Last saturday night was Rima's 21st, which was a lovely affair. 2 things that stood out to me:
1) I couldn't believe how many people there (her uni friends) would be people that I would not think twice about hanging around. I know, I know- major judgements on book-covers here, but...a good few people appeared to be the "kiss-kiss, how are you darling" type. I was just scrolling through my head the people that I know at uni doing law who could be put into that category, but to be honest, I'm either very naive (hee, probably) or blind, but I don't think there are many people like that...I dunno, it was just quite weird in that respect.

2) How good it was to see school friends again...especially those I hadn't seen since school ended (!). With the exception of one very confronting Mitzi (who greeted us with "Well, well, well, if it isn't people from MLC" or something to that effect....what the???), it was really nice to catch up with everyone. Especially surprising since the people who I was so happily catching up with were, for the most part, really annoying back in school....hehehehe.
