Speaking too soon?

Eeeeeeeeee!!

I got the job!!!!!!! They called me at 1:45pm on Friday...and the function I was supposed to be at was at 4:30pm, so it resulted in a lot of rushing, but of course, I was only too happy to do it! And it helped that there were bags of free stuff, swanky finger food and drinks waiting for us when we arrived, AND that the schmoozing tables had been dramatically turned! However, THE best thing was waking up this morning, and knowing that the structure of at least the next two years is in place and I won't be floating around aimlessly. Thank God!!

But in all seriousness, I am so grateful to God for giving me this opportunity, because if you look at how I got to this point in the first place (faithfully chronicled in this faithful blog), it's pretty damn random, and definitely has His fingerprints all over it! So thank you God, and thanks to everyone who thought and/or prayed for me.
