Touched

I have been so touched by the support that people have shown us regarding the Random Frill gallery launch! People have been so lovely...I really am touched. Thanks everyone!

In other news, I had my interview with CB@ Legal today, which was, as Jen predicted, a gumby check (as in, they just wanted to see my face to check that I wasn't a gumby. She did try and ask me some token interview questions tho, but I showed her!! Hahahaha.) I kick off next Thursday as the resident mail deliverer/biscuit tin filler (the manager I was speaking to actually described that as part of my official role...biscuits must be very very important to the whole production. Still, this does not compare to the office in Singapore where I worked, because they have what is termed the "Office Aunty" - usually a motherly woman in an official company apron - yes, I said company apron - who went around and cleaned up after the staff and got the lawyers' lunch orders. I think she lived in the little kitchen in the office. Go figure!) How exciting! My own money....at long last, the drought is over! Thank God! =)

Oh, in other other news, I'm going to see Brooke Fraser next Wednesday night! I like her music (well the 2 songs I've heard so far)!! And I'm a sucker for singer/songwriters with pretty tunes and clever lyrics. Too bad the next day I'll be up bright and early to start work...(and I mean bright and early. I start at 8:15...which means train at 7:40...which means up at around 6:20...ack!)
