Hi All!

Thought I should blog one more time before I leave for a week to go to camp. Ahhh, camp...this will be my 8th one! (3 as a leader, 5 as a kid.) So many memories...I wonder what's in store. This one is at a campsite in the Blue Mountains- it's the one where Eric skated into (and through!!) a glass door within the first hours of camp...the one where friggin Mark reduced me to tears after a very very loud gig (no ear plugs either...argh! Tinnitus!) and a bunch of guys were comforting me (!!), the only one where I brought a friend, the one where the guys did that "surround sound" skit in 97, the one where Jono dressed up in a mini for concert night, the one where we went on an aimless bushwalk (i.e. up a dirt track and down again!), the one where my tear stains are probably still up the back on the hall floor, the site of my first messy games induction, the site where I first considered the remotest possibility that I might actually like my now boyfriend back....ah me. I could go on and on, but I won't!

I'm kinda at the point where I just want to GO and be done with- I hate packing and all the inevitable fussing and stuff. Makes me wanna scream sometimes (which is how I decided to come and blog...needed some kind of outlet!!)...like I have all this buzzing energy inside me that just needs to GO SOMEWHERE!! There's always this kind of "I don't really want to go" moment before camp...when I think of the absolute buggered-ness which will ensue...the sometimes short tether that people end up on cos of the pressure...(GAY I'd better go find that water gun now while I remember)...EXAM the week after...argh! Best not to dwell on the bad stuff! The good stuff is that...(O help me out here!!)...the memories, spending time with the leaders and kids, general shared experiences, and GOD SHOWING UP.

(O yeah, totally on a different note, did I tell you that I'm actually progressing in Kingdom Hearts?? Hooray! Too bad I don't actually have time to play!!)

Ok, must go finish off packing and stuff...
