Ahh, the irony.

Well yesterday I was complaining about people I wanted to catch up with who just didn't want to catch up with me.

Well, God decided to display his sense of humour about my attitude towards the whole thing today, when I was crossing the road after filing something abt the High Court of Australia registry (btw, I was SO excited when I got that task!! Then when I got there, it was simply a matter of going up to the very very ordinary registry window on level 19 and getting the notice stamped. There wasn't even a queue there, or tickets, or numbers, or anything remotely interesting. Gah.) Going in the opposite direction across the road was the dude who recruited me for Law Ball band last year (who reminds me so much of Luke. Hi Luke if you read! How are you going!?), dressed in a spiffy suit and obviously working. I haven't seen him at all this year because he finished last year (I think).

Anyway, while crossing the road in opposite directions, we manage to recognise each other, say hi and ask what each other is up to. When we've reached the opposite sides of the road, he says to me "Well I'll call you sometime!" and I responded "Ok!" This is weird for a few reasons, including: I don't know him very well at all, and he doesn't know me very well at all, and a phone call would be very random and possibly uncomfortable. And before you think it, it's not like I could have said from the other side of the road "Uhhh, actually, don't bother!".

But yeah...it's just funny...someone I love and care about couldn't give a crap about how I'm going, and someone I hardly know wants to catch up with me. What in the world do I conclude from this!?!
