Dilemma of the Day: 3

Argh!

I grew the extra layer of skin and knocked on not just one door, but four! Go me!

Unfortunately, I managed to gather a significant amount of work- reading files and jotting down "my thoughts" on client's questions amongst other things. I'm working on this one file now, but I have no idea of the answers to the questions this partner wants answered. Literally, no idea. To make matters worse, she's the big boss partner, and I kind of don't want to screw this up! Grrrr.

O, another matter- might as well annex this to Dilemma of the Day: 3 post...

Should I go to the company Christmas lunch??

I'm leaning towards no at the moment...won't know anyone- what if no one talks to me!? O, I just thought of another reason...what will I wear!? It's at some swish hotel somewhere this Saturday...what will I wear!?...have to be nice and social all arvo, ick!

However, points in favour include: free nice food (food always tastes better when it's free...items are always received with greated joy when free...ahh, I'm Asian, I can't get away from it!), get to ingratiate myself with people who might want to offer me a job (yes, I'm keeping my options open!).
